Located in the Greater Concord, Capital City area of New Hampshire is a tier-1 level U19 Hockey Academy, offering high-end skill development alongside an in-person academic experience unmatched by any other program. Student athletes will attend Bishop Brady High School in Concord, NH and will reside in dormitories located on the campus of NHTI, also located in Concord. On and off ice training are just minutes away at Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett, NH.
The Concord / Hooksett area is in the heart of college hockey in New England. The Academy home rink is one hour away from 11 Division I colleges and universities, two hours away from an additional 17 Division I colleges and universities. 33 Division III colleges/universities are located in Northern New England and Massachusetts. Close proximity to these colleges and universities will maximize the NHHA player's exposure.
Student athletes attending the Mountain Cats Academy will receive elite training and coaching on and off the ice. Our hockey and school staff will work closely with your student athlete to develop a plan for personal growth and exposure for the next level of their education and hockey career.

WHEN
Our program season will run from August 26th 2024' through April 2025. We will train until the school year finishes at Bishop Brady High School

This in-person learning opportunity will provide student athletes a rigorous ciurriculum that values both content and skills. Bishop Brady High School will provide student athletes the skills to compete on the ice and to succeed in life beyond the game.
Tri-Town Arena - 311 West River Rd Hooksett NH 03106 (603) 485-1100- 2 Rink Facility, the ice arena is under new ownership and will be going under major upgrades this off -season.

PRACTICES
Ice time is critical for development. Players will skate 1-2 times per day 3-4 times a week throughout the season.

Coach Purdy
Head Coach,Kevin Purdy is coming from the NCAA Division III University of Southern Maine Men’s hockey program, Coach Purdy is a very familiar face here having spent 15 years coaching with the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs hockey club.
Coach Purdy has filled the roll of both head coach and assistant with the NCAA, Empire, ESHL, USPHL and Tier 1 Elite hockey leagues, with several of his Monarchs teams who have advanced to compete in the USA Hockey nationals and winning a National title with the Empire junior team.
During his career, Purdy has coached and mentored and guided numerous players along the way to achieve their goal of playing college hockey with dozens having gone on to compete at the collegiate level along with some making it into the professional ranks.
Recently relocating to York, Maine with his wife Pam, Purdy holds a second-degree black belt in the martial arts and can be found biking, roller blading or just hanging out on the beach with his two Labradors during the summer months. Coach Purdy is excited and honored to represent and guide the NH Mountain Cats Academy in their inaugural season.

Coach Palisi
Coach Palisi is a recent graduate and four-year starter from the NCAA DIII Castleton University in Vermont earning a BS in Exercise Science. Coach Palisi was a team captain for the women's program during her junior and senior years. She earned rookie of the year, team MVP 2 years in a row, coaches MVP and second team all-star in the New England College Hockey Conference.
A graduate from Holderness Prep School, Coach Palisi was a three-sport varsity athlete for the four years she attended and a team captain for lacrosse and hockey during her junior and senior years. Between Holderness Prep and Castleton University, she was honored to earn multiple awards, accolades, and titles.
Throughout her career, she has gained connections between prep schools and Universities in the New England area. Over fifteen years of playing hockey, coach Palisi has had the opportunity to play with and be coached by people from the PWHL and AHL. Coach Palisi has also helped coach summer skills and developmental programs and clinics while in college. A strong believer in off- ice strength and conditioning training, Coach Palisi will be a huge asset in the development and good workout habits to help further your goals of attending and playing college hockey. At the Mountain Cats Academy, Coach Palisi will be a great advocate in helping the players become the best players and people they can be on and off the ice and knows first-hand what it takes to be a collegiate hockey player.
Currently living right down the street from the rink, school and dorm in Concord NH, Coach Palisi works for her family business CSG Hockey located in Concord and Tri-Town Arena. Coach Palisi is looking forward to the start of a great season!
